At Musgrove/Smith, we believe effective appellate advocacy begins before the case is completed at the trial court level. It requires a sophisticated understanding of how to preserve issues for appeal, recognizing what non-final orders may be appealed immediately, and knowing how to navigate the appellate landscape.  With special rules, deadlines, and briefing requirements, our attorneys are skilled and admitted to practice in all Mississippi appellate courts and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The appeal process is often the best and last chance clients have to receive a favorable outcome in their case. We recognize the importance of crafting and executing a persuasive appeal, which is why no other firm places a greater emphasis on appellate excellence than Musgrove/Smith.
